Beautiful long Apache awl case from the late 19th century. The case itself is 8 1/2″ with the two extended tabs adding another 6 1/2″. Therefore, overall this yellow ochre colored case is 15″ long. There is a white shell button for closure. Elaborate multi-colored beadwork strips and tin cones. There are also 4 additional streamers that are a foot long each. One of the better and more complex Apache awl cases I’ve seen. No missing beads or cones.
