Phillip Vigil is a Jemez/ Jicarilla Apache artist who is having great success. He lives at Jemez Pueblo in NM. This large and vibrant painting is especially interesting because it is both abstract yet figural. The human figure is very evocative. The painting is 30″ by 22″ and is on heavy 300 lb. hot-press watercolor paper. It features acrylics and other paints.
