This is a vintage lidded Yupik basket from Kipnuk, Alaska. Made from natural ryegrass with dyed design in orange, blue, brown and black on the lid. Conical lid has a 3.75″ diameter and fits snugly into its perfectly shaped bottom – indicative of a Master Weaver’s art.
