Large Apache Beaded Bag with Rare Heart Motif – Published!

This bag is published on the cover of Whispering Wind magazine, issue # 327. See the final photo in this series. This is a very large and unusual Apache beaded bag in that it has a heart motif. Most Apache beaded bags have geometric designs. The dimensions are also unusual in that the bag is so large. It is 21″ long including the fringe by 8 1/2″ wide. The reverse side of the bag shows American flags, stars, and terraced designs. There are a few rust-colored stains on this side as shown in second to the last photo. I believe these could be professionally removed, but I think most people would prefer to display the rare heart side. Hide is soft and supple and no beads are missing on either side.
