Colorful, elaborate Plateau beaded bag from the 1930s or 40s. It depicts a Native maiden with long, braided hair and a beautiful dress. The diameter of the bag is 11 1/4″ with a circumference of about 38″. The back and edges of the bag are grey wool. The interior of the bag is a multi-colored floral pattern with an olive green background. Perfect condition: no missing beads with original leather handles.
