Superb, vibrant Hopi yungyapu or wicker tray depicting the female Konin or Havasupai katsina. It has a diameter of 15″ and has an 11 band start. It comes with a custom-made black metal stand that displays it at a perfect angle. There is some douma or clay at the top of the plaque from ceremonial use which should not be removed. This is among the finest Hopi wickers I’ve had in 30 years.
