Description This Turquoise, Mediterranean Coral, and Bear Claw cuff was created at the Casa Kakiki workshop in El Paso, Texas. Howard Shaw, a Cheyenne from Oklohoma, started this business in the late 1960’s. Mr. Shaw, wife, daughter, and a few Tigua Indians designed the pieces (according to his daughter). Tigua Native American Indians created Kakiki pieces. The Tiguas executed the designs and Mr. Shaw drove all around the country buying raw materials, selling jewelry, attending shows, and winning awards!
